Robert, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, became a partner of Davidson & Lindemann, P.A. in January of 2006. His practice areas include civil rights litigation, governmental liability defense, law enforcement defense, medical malpractice defense, and personal injury defense.
In the past thirteen years, Robert has represented numerous elected sheriffs, police officers, and prosecutors in civil actions throughout South Carolina and has defended law enforcement officials in over thirty jury trials on both the state and federal levels. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers' Foundation.
Before attending law school, Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina in 1989. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993. Prior to joining Davidson & Lindemann, Robert served as Senior Assistant Solicitor in the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor's Office. In addition to his membership in the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar, Robert has been involved in numerous civic groups throughout the community, including Leadership Columbia, Shandon Neighborhood Council, and the University of South Carolina Young Alumni Board.
